Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Kangaroos run around at night. The two room family suites are upgraded to the new beds. Hot tub next to gym. Nice reception area. Large area - secure gate to drive to your unit. Flexible on dates - they did accomodate a date change which is great!

This is an old motel converted to 4 star resort. It's next to highway but can ask for unit further back. The aircon is the heater so takes time to warm up. There are no heater blankets.

I booked this place online and my wife was not impressed with reviews. We had to change dates and they allowed it. We showed up and found the units to be very different from your typical hotel. They obviously converted a 3 star motel into a 4 star motel. There were two important things on our list - a great bed and our twin boys like the outdoors - animals. Each night we went out with flashlights and walked the grounds to find wallabies and kangaroos everywhere. We stayed two nights and wanted to extend over the weekend but was fully booked. The price is reasonable and you can become a member and get more discounts instantly. The bigger units have been renovated so very clean. We didn't eat at the restaurant as reviews said expensive and we were out most of the time.

Nightlife Tip : Explore the grounds at night for animals.

An abundance of wildlife on the resort...especially the hundreds of kangaroos that would hang around in the early morning and late evening.

Kangaroo poop!

The resort is about a 10 minute drive to Canberra city centre but feels like it is out in the middle of nowhere. The highway exit is easy to miss if you are coming up from the city direction. At the resort's exit, there is a petrol station with a restaurant and a pub. The resort itself has an overpriced restaurant and pizza bar. My card to get into the parking area and room had to be "renewed" each day as it stopped working. The room itself was just fine though.

Restaurant Tip : The Internet rates at the hotel were not fair. The McDonalds closer to the CBD, however, offers free WiFi and is open 24/7.
