I enjoyed my overnight stay at the Lakeside. I did manage to get free WiFi in the lobby but, in this day and age, it is really spoiling this (not inexpensive) ship for a halfpenny-worth of tar by not providing the same service for free in one's room. Today you get free WiFi in coffee bars and in backpackers - is it really too much to ask that a self-respecting business hotel should provide this most basic of services for free in all its rooms?

It was ok, but I am a little bit concerned about the cleanliness there as I saw dust and hairpin there. Lots of bugs if you keep windows open. I may choose another hotel if I go to Canberra again.
