Decent hotel in the heart of the city
great location for the convention centre

The hotel is a little bit tired, but the location is good for the city or convention centre, and the room is well-equipped for self-catering.
I had a problem where the hotel's iron left a rust stain on my shirt - the management were quick to organise emergency dry-cleaning to rectify the problem, for which I was very grateful.

there are a limited number of free parking spaces but that would be the only negative comment i would make. we had a great stay and the location is very convenient to the cbd, airport and exit roads.

nice hotel in good location

stayed an extra day due to the war mamorial needing a full and we also wanted to take full advantage of the location of the motel to the city center and the pool and spa.overall a nice place to relax and experiance canberra.

Room was stuffy
Temperature control on heater did not respond. On 1st floor the noise from the street made it difficult to sleep. May be better higher up.
Undercover parking was very useful.

I stayed and attended a conference at the convention centre. I found the hotel had everything I needed and was located between the conference venue and the city centre.

good location, comfortable room layout, luxurious TVs!

Staff were polite but not very responsive to requests for information/facilities.
Kitchens have good cooking facilities, but lack some essentials (eg. baking trays or pots to use the oven).
Nightlife Tip:
Located directly opposite Transit Bar - one very few more 'alternative' offerings available in the CBD.

Well located hotel with good underground parking. Reception could do with an update. Rooms were adequately sized and clean but rather worn around the edges - could do with some work. Hot water worked and tea and coffee making equipment was provided. Our six year old enjoyed the pool.
