Hotel has own beach / access to the beach from hotel.
A jungle feel for the walking areas.
Set away from the traffic, feels like it is a secluded environment.
It was cold when we visited, so didn't swim in outdoor pools (actually the photos of the outdoor pools was what caused us to book here :) so not being able to swim there was a bit of a disappointment)
The indoor pools seems dirty, because the water was not clear, rather looked cloudy. Also there was a lot of sand/dirt at the bottom of the pools.
Paths between the pools were still being renovated, so had to walk across stretches of dirt, rather than on the pavers.
The single basic room we got was floor tiled throughout whole room, so it was fairly cold, and also the floor tiles seemed to be a bit stained and not cleaned properly.
Noticed many other reviews indicating problems with the staff (ie, being unhelpful), so we stayed well away from them, and didn't have either a good experience or a bad experience to report :)
The hotel was great value only because we had some credits from Agoda to reduce the cost for the evening that we stayed with them.
We probably would not stay here again, but rather would try another place in Coffs Harbour.
