The resort itself is set amidst tropical gardens, home to a myriad of native wildlife, and guests need only take a short stroll, or simple sit quietly in the gardens, and wait for a visit by any one of the tropical birds, or native marsupials that populate the surrounding rain forest. One of the most unusual Australian animals is native to this area, and with luck, guests may spot the Bennets Tree Kangaroo, with its amazingly long tail. This unique kangaroo spends its life high in the canopy of the forest and can leap incredible distances, rarely leaving the safety of it�s treetop home.
