Central location
large very well equipped rooms
very good value The centrally located hotel is convenient for city restaurants and sightseeing. The hotel is modern, rather too large to be described as bijou but retains the personal attention and courtesy of such smaller establishments. The rooms are very large with different bedding configurations which should suit most demands. Each room has a comfortable lounge area, very well equipped kitchenette, dining area and of course a bed configuration of your choice. It is suitable for both short and long stays in relative comfort with ample opportunity to prepare your own meals -a bonus on a long trip.
The hotel restaurant was closed at the time of our visit and the alternative suggested by the hotel was not the establishment for 'occassion' dining.
It is very good value and very worthy of it 41/2 star rating.

This hotel was just OK to stay in. The location is the best in Darwin as it is right near all the pubs and restaurants and night life, but the staff are not the friendliest and the rooms are just OK. A bit outdated though. The price is pretty good though so I would recommend it to anyone on a budget.

The breakfast provided a good range from full, through continental to light. Eggs were specially prepared for each customer when we were there.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Information Centre, which can arrange coach trips - for example to Kakadu and Lichfield National Parks, which are both recommended - can be found by crossing the road outside the hotel, turning left and then first right in Darwin's mall.
