While we enjoyed our stay and thought is was reasonable value for quality of rooms, we were frustrated that we couldn't access bar/pool area due to a function. Also we arrived late at night and it was inconvenient to have to ring for minibar. Great location and staff were friendly and reasonably efficent - but could be more professional.
location, staff
no minibar in room, restricted access to bar/pool area
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : close to town and harbour area.

From the moment we arrived (at 3.00am!) we were treated as special guests by the staff here. They were always cheerful, polite and obliging. Our room was very clean and exactly what we had hoped for. The view of Darwin from our window confirmed our correct choice of accomodation. Being tropical the swimming pools were always going to get plenty of use and we enjoyed kicking back and having a few drinks from the very well priced poolside bar facility.
Being in the city centre and easy to find made the Mirambeena Resort the perfect choice of accomodation for us and I will most definately stay with them again in the future(hopefully sooner rather than later!!) Thank you.
Very corteous staff, clean swimming pools and rooms, cold beer, excellent meals (particularly breakfast) perfect location, well priced. Can't wait to get back there.
Needs more car parking space.....and that's my only gripe!!!
- Travel tip : When it's winter down south, thaw out at the Mirambeena!

We were only travelling as a couple but found the hotel suited us fine for a base in Darwin. Would suit families.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Government House was open to the public when we were in Darwin & it is a must do if you get the chance only open twice a year and the gardens are fabulous
