Pleasant and comfortable.
Rooms were clean, modern. Good beds. Good location close to supermarket.

It was good in general. The only downside was the Credit Card downpayment that needed to be made of 100 AUS and the lack of flexibility to provide another option of payment or guarantee. For overseas Credit cards they required the pincode which if u rarely use it means u cannot make the downpayment. I understand why it is like that, but some more flexibility would be nice.

Hotel is well positioned in the heart of Darwin. It's close to public transport and to main restaurants. Room was a good size and clean. The air con is very cold, even when temp turned up to 24 and on low fan. Needed a blanket on the bed, rather than just sheets. Otherwise, a good place to stay.

Budget and basic hotel if you have no other choice

There aren't many choices in Darwin but this still rates low. I was booked twice in one week at beginning and end. The first room was adequate if sterile, the second was a windowless prison cell packed with three beds. This type of hotel is typical of the Old Darwin and hasn't changed along with the city. OK if you want to spend no time in your room. The location is all it has to recommend it.

Nice place, comfortable stay. Only a few streets from the shops and bars . Though the wifi was expensive esp considering it was so slow it barely worked. Fitness room was pretty poor - dumbbells and a cycling machine.

The room was very nice and clean. However tv broke on arrival; moved to room at 11:30pm with air con locked at a too high temperature and could not change it; moved back at 12:00am. During all of this the staff was courteous and trying to help but no control over maintenance of rooms. And the internet charge was ridiculous in this day and age. SO, great staff, lovely gardens not up too par maintenance of room equipment.

We arrived to our "budget room" which was acceptable apart from the fact the air conditioning was not working. We asked at reception if it could be fixed and we were upgraded to a King Room on the top floor which I have to say enhanced the experience. The hotel was in a great spot, really friendly staff and the pool was well-utilised. Would recommend.

Reception staff seemed disinterested and booked in very quickly without much fuss. rooms clean large and comfortable suited our short stay. car parking very limited and spaces small and difficult to park needing sometimes to park on street which was not a problem as was close but not very secure
