Excellent location, very close to beach and entertainment area

Great location and amazing view plus staff were good but!
Rooms we saw were nothing like the web photos and first room we asked to move from due to the condition of it. Photos need to show the standard of room you are going to get. Would not have stayed there if we knew what rooms looked like in real life. Bathroom needs major revamp, fan clicked all night so had to turn off, curtains had holes/stains and door looked like someone had tried to bash open and this was the best of the 3 rooms we saw after asking to move from first one. Shame as it is in perfect location and view was fantastic. Owners need to bring up to date urgently

Good location and Acceptable Amenities
My teenage kids and I love the location, which is just a short walk to the beach and the shopping area. The apartment is sparsely decorated but with adequate amenities for simple cooking. Our only grouse is the need to get our own detergent/dish-washing liquid and toilet papers at the (luckily) nearby stores. They are available from the reception but it was usually closed, possibly because of the Xmas season. The staff/family manning the counter is pleasant and helpful though.

Needs updating
Even though it was value for our dollar the spa was out of use and the pool was average too. The roof was leaking in the bathroom. I think that it's time for an update. Beachcomber needs to consider this in order to increase their rating. Location is perfect close to everything

Dirty foul smell
Ocean view location elevators
It was a painful experience . The lounges were terrible to say the least you can feel the steel under your backside . Air conditioning dripped water on my head as I was sleeping on bed (mind you feeling the springs piercing my body ) very dirty carpets infested with some insects that created an itch on myself My wife and 2 year old daughter . Which deprived us of much needed sleep . We were suppose to be on holidays , As it turned out it was a nightmare . We could not stay the full stay and had to depart early and drive to Sydney during the night in the rain , I would not recommend this hotel to anyone . The hotel looks good on the outside But it's old dirty smelly from the inside It needs a complete renovation . The staff tried to be helpful . We had to use a spray to neutralise the foul odour in the apartment on arrival as we could not breath . 3 best parts had nothing to do with the apartment inside Location , shopping , elevators were the best parts . I would strongly consider choosing a different hotel until they renovate their apartments .
