Beautiful, large rooms, clean and friendly staff.
location from main area (Cavill Ave)
Overall a great experience. The Crown met all our expectations associated with a name like this with the rooms, food, staff assistance, finishings on the decor and the beach a 3 min walk away.
Depending on what type of holiday you want, the location can be a pro or a con. Being 30 mins walk from the centre of all the restaurants and night life can be a downer, but if you only do it once or twic, its a good walk and you would prbably need to walk off dinner afterwards.
Overall great hotel, great experience, perfect wheather, but as a young couple we would probably like to be closer to the action next time.
Restaurant Tip : If you dont want to pay 30 per head for a buffet b'fast every morning.. there is a nice little take away dinner 5 minutes walk away that does a good latte with breakki for about 7 dollars depending on how much you eat.

Bathroom and fridge were dirty. Unacceptable noise from next room at 1am reported and it took security one hour to deal with the situation.
The hotel is in a prime location with fantastic views of the coast and the hinterland. Although one of the older hotels on the coast, it has been maintained to a high standard and offers quality accommodation and services. The staff are friendly and well informed and the hotel is easy to find and offers plenty of off street parking.
Shopping Tip : Handy to Pacific Fair.

Friendly staff, very clean and spacious room, close to bus stops (right in front of the hotel), rotating restaurant.
A bit far from Broad beach and Surfers Paradise, because it is located in the middle of the two. It is a bit of a walk to either places, but there are restaurants along the way.
Overall a very nice hotel with bus stops right in front of it. The restaurant at the lobby area is a great meet up place for coffee and quick bites; it is both indoor and by-the-pool. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean and generously spacious with modern fittings. Good service, fast response time and very helpful staff. The hotel assists you in booking for tours and transport via multiple travel agents upon request, and you can always get heaps of suggestions and information from the staff on duty about what to do, where to go, etc. Overall a very nice experience, good location, and nothing to complain!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We didn't use a rental car. We took the shuttle from and to the Coolangatta airport. It is super convenient, and is the cheapest way as it dropped us off right at the hotel. It's a bit of a walk to Surfers Paradise -- 20 minutes or so, however, buses are available right at the hotel's doorstep. We did take the bus to Currumbin's Wildlife Sanctuary. Overall the hotel is very convenient and great value, especially during New Year's.

The staff were great, friendly and helpful.
Renovations are currently going on in the resturant
Renovations are currently going on in the resturant and the jack hammering was very loud. They were considerate though in only doing it through the hours of about 10:30 till 1:00. Surfers is so nice though by this time you should be out and about anyway! You are treated like royalty here with the staff going out of there way to help.

Very comfort. The staffs are very friendly. Nice View. 5-10mins driving to Surfer Paradise and Pacific Plaza.
Not near to shopping area. However, bus can easily reach to go to shopping area.
This is a good hotel to stay. Reasonable room rate with excellent room condition. You wont' regret to stay here. The only problem is no shopping area in walking distance. The staffs are really friendly and helpful. The seafood restaurant on the top is excellent. You must try!
Restaurant Tip : You must try the restaurant on the top floor. Can't remember the name.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable.
This has to be the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed at. Noise not from the guests but from the centrally-located elevators that constantly produce noise about 20 hours a day. I moved rooms three times but you just can't get away from the lift shafts in this round hotel with the lifts are in the middle. A fairly basic design flaw, not impressed. It disturbed me during the day and kept me awake both nights. Ear plugs didn't work!
Restaurant Tip : Long walk to Surfers and not many taxis about.

Clean and big room, staff kind and helpful.
Beautiful hotel, one of the best hotel I have ever been to. The rooms were very nice and comfrotable, view from balcony was amazing, location a big at weaker side but over all it was good experience staying this hotel. I'm sure you guys will like it. It is not that expensive too, we will surely stay there again whenever we go again.

I always make sure i read the reviews on the hotel before making my final decision so if you are just like me i would say - Go for it, it wont disappoint you!
Restaurant Tip : at broadwater, if you like seafood, go to the restaurant called georges, till now i still cant forget the service and the fresh food of that restaurant.

The surrounding environment, and hotel facilities good
Free hand to place the toilet paper and some dust
The hotel's location good, although a little distance away from downtown, but a good surrounding environment, very suitable for pure holiday. Hotels in the actual situation and the Web site described the picture and the provision of basic line. Hotel facilities, a great room. Reception staff are mostly male attendants, feeling good. The price of three-star or five-star enjoyment. Strongly recommend to friends preferred this resort hotel. Next to Gold Coast also selected this hotel.
Hotel Feature Tip : Integrated hotel

Warm and welcoming reception. Excellent service. Findings of the bottle of champagne offered by the house in person.
The sand in the windows of the room
The layout of the room unexpected and original. The view from the hotel back from the sea impressive. After 15 minutes of discussion with the information service, we knew everything that was around the hotel and our interest. Ideal location for outings, restaurants, beach, shops within 10 minutes on foot or by car. I do not hesitate to come with family and friends for a first impression on the Gold Coast.
