The resort is located at the center of street or town. The facility of the hotel is not completed and very old fashion. The bed got some smell on it. I found that the service from concierge to quick check-in for me at the executive is very good. The location of Islander Resort is convenient to shopping area(just over the road by walkway), is easy to go to the beach and is only take about 10minutes walk from that resort. And it is very easy to take a bus to the place where you plan to go. If you are looking for a value for money Resort without all the bells and whistle in a central location, this is worth considering.

very central and near shop, dining, beach , and bar and club . staff very friendly. this my third stay in islander hotel. very friendly staff and very convenience . the location is 5 star. the hotel only 2 star , but like 5 star staying. happy with this hotel.

location of hotel, nice rooms, clean, internet facilities This hotel is as central as you can be and is only a couple of blocks away from the beach. lots of restaurants, bars and shopping facilities are immediately outside the hotel which is good if you dont want to venture very far.there is a hostel next door to the hotel but sometimes the rooms in the hotel are used for this purpose. the hotel doesnt control the noise at night like it should and as such there were 2 rooms next door to mine which had a group of young lads partying all night and keeping me awake.

Cheap rate, very near to most shopping area at Gold Coast Surfer Paradise. Good in location. Basic room facilities. Can't imagine even no phone in the room. Very small TV. Not very comfortable for staying. Shopping Tip : The best place if you enjoy shopping and water sport. All in walking distance.
