Got a great deal via Agoda for the high season between Christmas and New Year. Hence our room was standard with hinterland views, no balcony. That's ok, it's what we paid for. Remember that 5 stars are awarded for services offered, not necessarily room quality. Good to see it was busy and Broadbeach is currently in its prime. Free parking, helpful staff, whatever you needed was done. There is no reason not to stay here should you wish. Just be aware that lower rooms can have a very small leak of noise from the bars below.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Phoenician Resort nearby apparently has one of the best day spas in Australia.

I was surprised that the room was spacious. The restaurant has a buffet which services great seafood over the weekends. Great seafood at affordable prices. Pacific Shopping Center was just across the road, which was very convenient.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We bought a 5 day GoldCoast shuttle bus service. It provided us with hotel transfers to the places of interest and also unlimited local travel within Goldcoast. It saved us alot of money as we were able to move around Goldcoast on our own.

the barmaid remebered me from the previous day and gave me the drinks i wanted before i asked..... not many can do that now days...
the food was great especially room service said 25 mins before delivery was there in 15.

**very up set that every time i wanted to catch up on tv news i got blasted by the advert for the tap dogs .
then i had to wrestle the remote to bring the volume down to a sensible level .
** was disappointed with the fact i wanted room service and i pick up the menu folder only to find that it does not have the menu even in english .i had to see it on the tv ,even then it was
hard to use the control .

Our room was two beds which I thought we were getting one...didn't matter though, the room was beautiful, awesome views and I loved the pool area at night. Felt magical!
I loved the stay, it was a night for myself and my partner to relax without the kids and to let our hair out. I would never hesitate to stay there again!

Go take a dip at night, its simply beautiful!
