Nice reception area but poor rooms

Foyer has been updated well and is appealing however rooms are very basic for the price. Rooms do not have updated television screens, and are very limited for family, with no toaster or microwave. Most hotels would include a microwave as a minimum. Also very small and quite outdated.

The hotel upon arrival was marked with some disappointment on my part. The bathroom had visible mold in the shower/bath also with a distinct musky smell.
The remote control for the TV had food/dirt in the buttons.
The balcony was small with a single rusty chair on it.
The location was great, a small walk from everything in Surfers. The service was also good, the housekeeper was nice.

Great room and great location

We really liked the spacious room and the balcony. The pool was beautiful (though just a tab cooler than I usually prefer). The only downsides were that there wasn't enough parking onsite, so we had to use a garage a few blocks away, and the line for check-out was long. Other than that, we really enjoyed our short stay there.

Perfect location near the lovely beach
Near to everything. Just 200m from the long and beutiful beach in surfers paradise.

Ended up at Mantra Legends after a late booking in the middle of the Australian vacation period.
The Hotel it self was ok, but our room was located on the lowest level and people from the balcony above
was trowing down all kind of stuff to our level.
Expensive breakfeast. Half the price at near by restaurants.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go to the beach and swim in the great waves. Watch out for rip curls...
Don't spend money by going to the event parks in the region.. To much people .

Mantra Legends Hotel has friendly staff. Very accommodating, they provide good suggestions on places of interest within the Gold Coast. Hotel rooms were clean & well-kept. Hotel location is perfect. Its near the beach, restaurants and theme parks.I recommend this hotel for the whole family. Despite several people booked the hotel during our stay, hotel staff remained polite and hospitable to us and other guests. All of our family members enjoyed most of our stay at the hotel.
