Loved the view, very clean rooms, servicing of rooms was perfect, 2 blocks walk to the beach and restaurants.

Great getaway in a quiet area of Broad Beach. Far away from the tourists and noise of Surfers Paradise. Beautiful view of the Ocean and $5/night parking underground in the Meriton Garage. Facilities are spot on with indoor and outdoor pool, sauna and gym. Highly recommend this place to anyone with a family, couples or long term stays.
Shopping Tip:
Harbor Town Outlets is about a 15 min drive away and Pacific Fair Mall is across the Street.

Apt is excellent; good restaurants and shops nearby; walking distance to attractions like beach; bus stops just outside takes one to all the sights in Gold Coast area. Only 10min away from Surfers Paradise. Also very well furnished -incl operating washer/dryer, and cooking utensils. Would stay here again if in Gold Coast and highly recommended to other visitors to the area. (recommend Broadbeach relative to Surfers Paradise as we found the food choices better there; one can always take a short bus ride there, although we found the bus there to be a rather expensive ride!)

It is located at broadbeach, not surfers paradise. the department itself is only one room, including the kitchen.the bathroom is also tiny, i cannot put my stuff on the basin.
the staff is not warm or friendly. they dont smile much.
not far from a shopping mall or the beach.

Meriton = Cheaply built building. Doors whistled when it was windy (and I was trying to sleep). The drain emptied very slowly. I could see each individual gyprock panel on the ceiling. The aircon was noisy/rattly. It was a good price, so I guess you get what you pay for....

I have stayed in this hotel before and that's why I book in it again but last time my friend book it on his name straight through the hotel. I was looking forward to stay this time as it's an amazing hotel with great ocean view especially at 5:30 in the morning i love it.
Unfortunately this time our flight was cancelled half an hour before we fly from Sydney but lucky and because the hotel is very good they didn't charge us anything they just refund to us and the refund process was pretty easy.
Looking forward for next time to stay in the meriton hotel.
