Private and peaceful
Both the room and bathroom were large with a huge spa bath.

The owners are attentive without being intrusive - a great combination as we felt both cared for and left alone! The pillows could be a bit better though.

Lovely country atmosphere with welcoming hosts

Muscatels is a very welcoming, luxurious B&B with wonderful hosts, Stephan and Marion. The rooms and the guest areas are all tastefully decorated, often with Marion's own paintings and handiwork. Our room and bathroom were spotless and extremely comfortable. We were blown away by the huge bathroom which came with a jacuzzi.
Outside, it was a joy to curl up on the guest lounge sofa with a good book. Breakfast was delicious with the table setting all thoughtfully laid out. I'm not a big fan of muesli but Marion's won me over!
One evening, we bought back dinner and Marion very readily supplied us with plates and cutlery. She happened to be cooking her own dinner at the time and let us sample some!
All in all, we have a very, very good time!
Travel tip:
The restaurants on Mt Tamborine don't always open at night. The information centre has a list of those that do.
Muscatels also provides dinner if you let them know early. Marion's a good cook and you won't regret it!
