Lovely hotel with great views and great location
easy access to good food and entertainment

As we were wanting to get away for a night to unwind from a stressful week we decided to choose this hotel for it's location and with breakfast as part of the package we just couldn't resist. We also like to play the poker machines so this was also a bonus and yes we won which made the night more enjoyable. The breakfast was filling prior to our drive home and now planning to return soon.

love the steam room and pools,nearby restaurants,view of the harbour& so close to the beach.

I enjoyed my stay.The room was clean,functional and had everything I needed.
The facilities are great,pools ,steam room and gym.It felt private,but downstairs there are lots of restaurants and the beach to enjoy.Staff were friendly and efficient.I will definately choose the outrigger again.Good value and great location.

Had a great time with all facilities ie. gaming, food, entertainment etc. Had a great night in the showroom with Darren Percival. Only negative comment would be that the bathrooms in the hotel tower are getting a bit dated and could do with a makeover. Staff were corteous and always helpfull.

we stayed just one night as we were locals attend a concert down the southern end of the gold coast. we stayed in a deluxe room which was excellent! two double beds, sitting area with coffee table, couch and armchair, and kitchenette with table and chairs. room would be excellent for families with children as you can do your own cooking! breakfast was included and was a very impressive spread of hot and cold foods.
location was excellent for us as it was five minutes drive from the airport and walking distance to the venue we were attending. however, it is a good 30-40 minute drive from the main tourist areas of surfers paradise, main beach, and broadbeach.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Coolangatta is a beautiful part of the Gold Coast, although it is quite far from the main tourist areas of Surfers Paradise.

This is a quality hotel in the heart of the city. Excellent room fit out, spacious and well appointed. Only problem...neither of the two televisions worked. Reported problem to reception (late in evening)and desk staff attended and tried for about 20 mins to get either working but could not. I accepted a free full buffet breakfast in compensation.

I have stayed at the resort on several occasions and each time have enjoyed the facilities in the room and also it close association, via a bridge, to the Services club with all its facilities.
The views are good and the location close to the airport is a bonus. The staff are friendly and helpful and will continue to be my venue of choice on the Gold Coast.

We were happy with the room size and comfortable beds! our balcony overlooked the pool which was great to watch kids etc.
Excellent breakfast in the downstairs area and an easy walk to the shops if you needed anything. Beach a 2 minute walk away. we ate at the local Surf Lifesaving Club and were not disappointed. Plenty of eateries to choose from. A short walk across the internal walkway allows you to take in a show. Easy ticket purchase at the entrance. Outrigger Reception staff were really friendly and very helpful when asking directions and advice. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Travel tip:
Great location if you want the beach or across the walkway to see a show. Shopping close by but the pool and gym were perfect for our relaxation time.

*the phone wasn't working
*my foxtel wasn't working (took 3 days before was finally fixed)
*when showering the water leaked all over bathroom floor
