Feels like a family friendly 4 star hotel.
good location, ample parking and range of facilities - self sufficient village.

A little underwhelmed overall. Everything was average to above average but nothing spectacular/great or particularly luxurious. As a result ended up spending most of the time outside of Kingscliff and the resort.

Great stay as usual, breakfast and bar food quality. Room not quiet as clean as could have been (air con unit and curtains/carpet quiet dusty)

The resort was very well located in walking distance from the beach. The apartment was lovely and the plunge pool just perfect for our 2 children on 8 and 9
The only problem is if you arrive late there is no room service and no restaurant near by but you have to drive 15 min to the nearest McDonald's.
Booth pools were very good and the kids have enjoyed the food by the pool as well

Best restaurant - Finn's the service was impeccable the food amazing and the owner the perfect host

Hotel good, staff slow.
Well fitted rooms and clean. Away from the mad Gold Coast traffic.

We stayed in the suite with spa and really enjoyed. Staff a little slow to respond and check in lengthy.Room ket cards needed to be reactivated twice.Breakfast good.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Beaches beautiful but dangerous.

Very relaxing stay. I would recommend this venue for a getaway from the hussel and bussel of the fast lane. Great rooms especially the suites. The beach is close by for those secluded walks.

Lovely Resort, But far from Gold Coast, Small Room

far from gold coast cbd & theme parks. it's about 45 mins drive to theme parks & surfers paradise, but can go upto 60 mins depending on traffic. won't recommend if your main purpose of visit in gold coast attractions.. i spent atleast 3-4 hrs on the road in 2 days to get to places from here...
apart from this, hotel is good. booking a room with plunge pool was a mistake, since it was not heated. but, there are other heated pools. room size was small for a 5* rated hotel.
very nice restaurant, buffet breakfast was awesome & lots of options. nice restaurants within 100 mtrs walk (salt village)..

Fantastic location. Terrific pool, feels like you are on a tropical island.

We stayed at Peppers to attend a wedding. It was absoulately fantastic. The food was great, service sublime, setting was magnificent. We had a great time. The pub across the road has fantastic meals if you are looking for something a little cheaper. We would highly recommend staying here.

Modern Hotel but tiny rooms - low ceilings

Overall I thought Peppers Salt Resort & Spa was of moderate value for a short stay. Pros included beautiful lagoon, friendly staff, modern and clean, good breakfast buffet (though fruit selection was sparse), choice of restaurants - thai, italian, modern australian, seafood just a short walk away and of course the beautiful beach a 2-3 minute walk from your door. Set menu selection 2 course/3 course all nights but Saturday looked good though we never actually dined in the evening in-house during our stay. Cons included tiny base rate rooms with what seemed like low ceilings. The 1 bedroom apartments also, whilst well set out also seemed small and tight - though adequate for a short stay, hire bikes from the hotel without working brakes and bells were a concern. I expected a chain such as Peppers to have a higher regard for the safety of their guests. Restaurant for breakfast was overcrowded - but to be fair we probably arrived during 'rush hour'.
