Beautiful view and absolutely value stay

We stayed at 29th floor and the scenery is awesome! U may find quite an amount of good and affordable price restaurant nearby and within 10 mins walking distance to Surfers Paradise beach. The room has everything u need, it is really good value for Gold Coast short trip.
The room has open bathroom concept. A big space of dining area, the bed is cozy. I could not stop thumbs up for this good deal! :)

I love the place, certainly will come again. Love the scenery from the room and the full kitchen. The sea view was great and the city lights from d room at night gives us the best of both world.
Also enjoy spa bath in the room.

Great View but there are better options available

Paid the extra for a beach view - well worth it. It's the best thing about the stay. Spacious room with all amenities, however the greatest disappointment was the bed - uncomfortable - two single beds moved together - hardly what you expect for paying this sort of money. Also, not enough front desk staff so takes a long time to get serviced.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Ask for a high floor (although you may not get this) and pay extra for the beach view

Only stayed for night but it was nice hotel. The room had a lot space and it was nice and cosy. The hotel is located about 5 to 10 minute walk to Cavil Avenue where everything is located.
The con is the slow check in and checking out. They should hire more staffs. Two people are not going to cut it especially with the size of the hotels and clients.

Complete rip off!
(front counter ) was the only good thing about the hotel.

i will never stay there again. complete rip off. i had a problem with my reservation and changed it 5 minutes after i made it !. this is the worst customer service i have ever had in any hotel. i'm sure you will see more problems posted on here as i heard many people complaining to the staff many times.!

i love staying at the q1 and enjoyed this stay even more, gorgeous ocean views and enormous apartment! close to surfers paradise, shops, pubs, clubs and all the attractions. q1 sky deck is the highest lookout in surfers paradise and is definitely worth a look!

Poor service and overpriced

I paid day for two day but only get a 25th floor room with the ocean views blocked by the Peninsula hotel in front, and this is supposed to be the tallest hotel in Gold Coast with the best view. I could have paid less, and get much better views in other hotels. I was also disappointed when I went to the hotel gym with has outdated equipment, no towels, a tiny sauna that no one ever uses . . The check in and check out service are also slow and attitude indifferent.

Don't choose Q1 if you want good gym and good service

Q1 is an architectural accomplishment. You get 5 star service where you expect 5 star service. The staff were willing and able to answer any queries you have. Q1 is a 2 min walk away from the beach and another 3 min walk to the main strip. I recommend this place to any type of travel group whether its a family or a group of mates. Q1 is a trendy place to be and very classy and I will always stay here when i go to the gold coast
