Good location, just next to the main shopping centre and restaurants. The queen bed was very confortable(fluffy pillows and covers)
The staff wasn't particularly friendly or polite, we thought they were rather stiff and had a superiority attitude that I personally can't stand
We don't usually like to stay in big chain hotels but we had no choice as we had a flight to catch the day after departing from the gold coast airport and being high season everything else was fully booked. The hotel is nice enough with a beautiful smell around the lobby and all and the location is very central, close to the beach, the shops and many restaurants. But that ends there. The staff had an hideous attitude that got badly on my nerves. Not worth the money.

Very relaxing and modern atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great views, and we loved the buffet breakfast it was delicious.
Needs more service by the pool e.g. towels and refreshments.
We were looking for a night away from the kids to relax and unwind and the Sofitel helped us do that the minute we stepped inside, it was modern and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We had a great night away we especially liked the views from the wonderfully appointed, clean and modern room. We had a relaxing night away and totally recharged. We really loved the huge delicious breakfast buffet. Two thumbs up it was lovely.
Hotel Feature Tip : Get some lovely nibbles and sit on the lovely balcony they have wonderful views.
