Have stayed previously and was great, this time room was unacceptable - unclean - dirty - broken fixtures - we were able to change rooms without much fuss thank goodness and accomodation much better - super location altough very noisy at the moment due to light rail works. Would stay again.

Regret choosing Chevron, if not due to a friend recommendation. The sofa in the apartment have to be replaced, it was in a very bad condition - leather already peeling off. The toiletries and 2 small packet of dishwashing liquid is not enough for a five day stay. Rubbish not cleared daily and we are not informed of where to disposed off the rubbish even if we are supposed to do that. Luckily they have friendly & helpful staff.

I have originally booked it for 3 nights in Tower 1 however I have checked out after the first night only. The room is dirty and kitchenware are all sticky and dirty...there was a supermarket recipt in the drawer date back to early Jan (my stay was on 25/2)..obviously they are not doing a good job on cleaning.. TV remote is missing and lights in the living room didn't work...
The decoration in the lobby is nice but it is like day and night in the room... the room decoration is so outdated...not comfortable at all... i rather spend my time out on the street than in the hotel..
I will definitely not stay in that hotel again...

By far the best hotel i have stayed at in QLD!! Excellent location. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean, toilets and pools were clean. At night the lights would come on in the Pool/bbq area and you actually forget that you are staying at a hotel. The convenience of the shops located downstairs was a huge plus also!!

Very disappointed with the service, upon check in the staff were very rude and had a negative approach towards us as young girls. We left our bags and came back , an again we were treated in a rude manner. Apart from that the stay was amazing, the apartment and facilities were just beautiful.

We really enjoyed having an appartment to stay in and was a great location, great amenities and the services were great, aside from the cleaning. The oven was smeared with oven cleaner so we couldn't use inside it, no inter-stay room cleans without paying for it on top of your room cost which was a suprise! Couldn't even ask for extra loo paper or soap without paying for it - lucky for he supermarket downstairs! Another couple we met the first day had moved rooms three times due to lack of cleanliness so we didn't bother complaining at the time due to not being bothered about moving again and again! Other than that though, enjoyed the outside areas, balcony on rooms, actual room was great size and service was great.
Restaurant Tip:
Awesome steak at the restaurant downstairs!

We had a great experience staying at the Chevron. It was convenient and did not have any hassles with check in and checkout. Access to the shopping area through the hotel was a bonus on the rainy days which did not confines us to staying in the room..
A couple of negatives would be the overall cleanliness of the room upon arrival and the remote controls for the tv would not work at times. Other than that it was a great stay.

Our stay at chevron renaissance was overall quiet nice, had a huge room, large balcony overlooking the river. It was very easy to get around as well check in (we had a late check in) and staff were very helpful. Only downside was that there was no housekeeping and the room was quite dirty when were arrived, the dishes were done and the bed made but that's about it. There was hair under the bed and it looked like it hadn't been vaccummed in months so that was disappointing. But in saying that we had an enjoyable and would recommend this hotel to a friend
