Pleasant Hotel with Great Customer Service

My partner and I were planning on staying elsewhere. However, we decided to try The Vibe Hotel and it turned out better than what we expected.
On the day we arrived early (around 11:30am) and were told to come back at check-in at 2pm as the room wasn't ready. However, we recieved a call 30mins later (12pm) to advise that our room was ready. When we went back to the Hotel we were advised that we were upgraded to the Deluxe room. We though that was nice as they we didn't book that room.
Overall, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We arrived at the Vibe Hotel on the Gold Coast at a very busy time. It was in the middle of the Schoolies weeks. We were treated very courteously by the reception staff at all times during our stay. We selected a preference for a quiet room with water views (either ocean or river). We were very happy to receive a great room at the back of the hotel overlooking the river. This more than met our expectations as we were only staying just the one night and we were able to get the special deal. We went to dinner at the Vibe Cafe and in spite of schoolies it was very quiet and personal. The young ones were all at the disco next door, I guess.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Quiet rooms at the rear of the hotel overlooking river. The room was very clean and the reception staff very courteous and helpful.

Great customer service and nice stay with very few schoolies.
The only issue was that the air con was leaking and the sliding door did not lock.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Jet X Extreme rear of vibe hotel easy access, it is 90 dollars for a 55 minute ride however if you opt to be dropped of at seaworld your trip could be 30 minutes only which is really disappointing.

staff were excellent from moment checked , and very helpful on little hints about where to go and what to do.
a bonus was room service especially as we didnt want to confront the schoolies with a 14 year old daughter.
Amenities were first class and the hotel was in a great and Convienient position to explore the Gold Coast !
Shopping Tip:
do your shopping at Robina or Harbour Town which have better prices

Booked 3 river view rooms under in one name, but they were not gave me that 3 rooms face on the river and also not on the same floor.
The room style was not match with the photos that showing on the website.

The hotel room was very clean. Everything was in order and in style. The view from the balcony is really nice and refreshing. Although we have to pay for parking per day. But its alright, the stay was outstanding.

Near shopping malls and restaurants. Walking distance to Surfers Paradise beach

Location is just opp the Surfers Paradise Centro shopping area. Alot of restaurants near the hotel. Spacious room with nice view. Jetboat rides is just behind the hotel. Do not stay in low levels as its gets pretty noisy from the pub below during night time.
Small car park with no free parking. Parking is charged per night.
Restaurant Tip:
For those who gets sick of eating western / italian food everyday , there is a nice Taiwanese restaurant that serves pretty good chinese food just near the hotel.
