Relaxing easter long weekend

We had a fantastic stay at Mantra Hervey Bay, not a lot to do in Hervey Bay when it is not whale season but it was a relaxing break. Make sure you try the fish and chips just outside the hotel on the Marina Boardwalk - the best I have had!

Stayed in a 1 bed apartment over New Years, very good room size and features but the whole place is painted this ugly yellow colour with quite tacky decor. The pool was ok but prone to being a wind tunnel as it sits between the two buildings.

Lovely room, the spa room was lovely, the spa bath was a really good size too. Whet for lovely walk along the beach on the other side of hotel. Make sure any requests are sent to the hotel directly so they can try and give you your requests. Make sure you ask for a high room so you can get a good view.
Make sure you check your washing machine and dryer - we still had wet towels in it!!!

great location especially if whale watching
location to marina and views from all balconies made it interesting to watch the boats coming and going. There are plenty of eating places in walking distance.

Only stayed a few days but enjoyed our time. Rooms wete clean amd well furnishef. We did habe a TV gall off the wall but it was not the hotel's fault but rather poor trades manship. Hotel staff responded quickly and we were not made to feel responsible as we weren't even in the room when it happened.

Wanted to stay longer! Will be back. great location for sightseeing activities and had good choice of restaurants close by. Room was great. Lower level room great as close to pool and handy with grass area if you had kids. staff were really friendly. Room was great and having spa was lovely too.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Great location if you are planning on doing fraser island or whale watching tour!

compendium/ room service menu had food stains smeared through it. not what you want to see when deciding what to eat. general cleanliness of room was very very poor.
