Private balcony overlooking harbor
The elevator was broke when we checked in but fixed the next morning
We spent 3 nights at the Outrigger Hervey Bay Resort now named the Mantra. We stayed in a standard room which was very nice & had a private balcony overlooking the harbor. They also have suites & 1 & 2 bedrooms available. The pool was nice with a bridge going over it which we used to go to the dining room & down to the boat area. By the pool there were 2 electic grills & we did use one of them for a dinner on aour terrace. The restaurant was very good & there were several choices within walking distance.

Staff helpful at booking tours to Fraser Island. There is no facility for room service or restaurant at the hotel, so you have to go outside the hotel for any food.
Restaurant Tip : Try Cafe Baleana...very tasty food.
