Nice and clean room, but terrible check-in/out

We arrived late (21.30pm) and had notified the hostel of this via the booking (where it even said that you only had to notify if you arrived after 10pm). When we arrived no-one was there and no-one answered the phone. After some time the hostel shuttle arrived and the driver gave us the keys and immediately left again. Checking out early (6am) was also a problem as there were no-where to put the keys...

100% fun atmosphere!

Rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The receptionist was extremely bubbly! Stayed here as part of Fraser Island tour. First night arrived there was a party in our unit. The people had come back from their tour, we joined in. Then we went on our tour, when we came back we threw our own party with all our new friends from the tour. The staff are very relaxed with the parties as long as you don't make trouble and destroy anything and don't disturb other guests. There is a big communal area too and outside pool. They include transfers to bus station and the shopping centre and booze shop. Only downfall was the small kitchen for a large number of people. Most people cook together. We stayed here in May and they were rebuilding the units so maybe they have improved now. Despite this we really enjoyed it there and would definitely love to do it all over again.

This was refreshing as it was not like other hostels; we had a room, and shared a kitchen with 4 other double rooms, so the kitchen wasn't crowded even when we were all cooking, and there was enough room in the fridge for our food.
We also shared a bathroom.
The place was nice, although the pool was questionable!
The guys at the desk were helpful and booked us in on a trip to Fraser Island.
All in all, pleasant, clean, and in a nice quiet area.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Fraser Island, must do. One day or overnights.

Trevligt rum och skon sang,
Laget och rummets storlek och att inredningen var frasch.

Vi var dar 2 dagar. det fanns inte sa mycket porslin och bara en dusch och toalett pa ca 10personer. Det fungerade anda for det var inte sa mycket folk dar.
