Please note that :
- Car parking is available in the undercover MARKET PLACE CAR PARK which is security monitored & staffed 24/7 located directly behind the hotel in Market Place.
- The maximum fee per CONTINUOUS 24 hours is $15.
- Part day stays will be charged at the casual parking rates displayed at the entrance to the car park.
- Multiple entries and exits throughout the day will be charged at the normal casual rates shown at the entrance to the car park.
- Parking fees are based on the time your vehicle is in the car park and not length of stay at the hotel.
- In order to receive the discounted 24hr car parking rate, guests will need to have their car parking ticket validated at Hotel Reception each time they re-enter the car park.
- All fees are payable direct to the Car Park accepting EFTPOS and CASH payments. Receipts can be issued by the car park.
- Even if the FULL sign is displayed the car park attendants will provide a space.
- 5-minute set-down area in front of the hotel.

Great hotel with quality staff

Staff are good. Near to the pier & the good restaurants (around 5-10 mins walk only). Salamanca Place is also 10 mins walk. It's famous, so day tour coach would pick up & drop right outside the hotel. Though not too many facilities (don't expect it's Macau-style hotels), I would recommend friends to choose this hotel if they go to Hobart.

The hotel was quite recently renovated so the room condition was good. The room was very clean and everything were in good shape. And there is free WiFi available which is nice for checking your next destination or etc.
Only drawback is there is no free car park. The affiliated car park at the back of the hotel charges $15 for each 24 hours for hotel guest (which is reasonable), but there are a few 8am-6pm 1/2P space at the main entrance of the hotel so if you arrive after 6 and there is free space then free parking until the next morning.
