Good location
Very good location as u only need to walk in 5 mins to the Salamanca market. The room is unexpected big enough given it is located in the centre of city.

Location is extremely good, very near Salamanca. We have booked 2 rooms, although they have received one room booking from agoda, they quickly reacted and found another room for us, very responsible staff.

The living room was huge but sparsely furnished. The walls could do with more paintings to brighten up a fairly dark room. Some bookshelves and more furniture would help. The hotel corridors could also do with brightening up - very dingey!

just in 5 minutes walking distance to Salamanca market, room is spacious for couples

Suggest to offer complimentary wifi/internet service which most of the hotels/apartments have already offered

Although the Hotel was able to accommodate the extended stay due to the fires around Hobart there were a number of items that made the stay less enjoyable than it could have been.
Reception were helpful and catered for printing of revised tickets and accommodation around the state due to the fires.
The unit was large and catered for the three of us well.
Unfortunately the lift broke down and elderly clients were walking up and down stairs throughout the hottest days on record.
The inability to provide parking paid or not made each day a hassle to move vehicles around off local loading and metering areas.
As we were not staying long enough the unit was not serviced however it would have been appreciated if they could have at least removed dirty towels and replaced them with fresh one's over the four days we stayed.

Newly renovated city hotel

mantra keeps a solid standard with this place with nice decors, big rooms, and firm beds. it is 5 mins walk to cbd area, and to salamanca market which is opened every saturday and it's a must go. onsite parking available but need to book with hotel in advance. street parking is ample and it's free on weekends. surprisingly wifi is not free, and there is no free lan either. water from tap is safe to drink and very crisp and clear. not short of food options even at late night if you don't mind domino's.
