Nice, convenient location on the pier. Spacious rooms with bedroom on mezzanine.
Hotel bar downstairs can get noisy at weekends. Walls quite thin so can sometimes hear people next door walking up and down staircase in room.
Hotel was easy to find as right on waterfront. Lots of restaurants nearby. Convenient location -only 5 min walk to Salamanca Square - good place to explore Saturday market. Very good value for money. Rooms are new, spacious and clean. Bed is located on mezzanine level so may not be suitable for older people. Hotel bar/restuarant downstairs can get quite noisy at weekends tho' the food looks great. Overall satisfied and would recommend for short and long stay in Hobart.

Hobart is a great city, the narkets, Richmond, Moorilla, Air Walk, harbour cruise, shipwrights arms, all great. Very comprehensive visitors' information centre just up the road from Motel.
