Excellent penthouse

We do have an excellent stay there. We are surprised to see how beautifully the penthouse is decorated and the nice sea view from the balcony. We are a group of 8 people and the house is big enough for us to chill around. The kitchen is also well-equipped with dish washing machine and the necessary things that you need for a simple dinner. There is coffee machine that you can make a cup of nice coffee in the morning, very highly appreciated. The house is clean with very big and comfortable beds. Bathrooms are clean and big, equipped with high quality Loccitane products. There is a jacuzzi in one of the bathrooms for you to enjoy after a day's travelling. There are also heating rods in all the bathrooms to heat up the towels, very luxury and considerate. There is free wi-fi in the house with good speed, which makes it easy for you to search for travelling information. The only drawback is that it is situated opposite to a bar, which makes it quite noisy at night. Overall, it's a very nice stay there and certainly we will stay again in the future. Very highly recommended.

Good location. Very spacious. Fully equiped with quality, especially the kitchen.

Almost perfect. I stayed 2 nights here and 2 nights in Somerset on the Pier. Except the absence marina view, all other details are completely outplayed Somerset. One more thing is the toilets are a bit small in such sized apartment. Yes it is "toiletS" as there are two! Very very good stay.

Very interesting stay since the moment we stepped into the parking lot where our commuter van didn't fit. We were stuck and the out-of-duty asian staffs were extremely helpful in getting us out from the situation.. Rooms were cleaned up on xmas day.

Reception isn't too easy to find. signages are all over once you got into the alley but finding the alley is a bit of challenge if you drive from main roads. Kitchenware provided is very well equipped. There's even an electric bbq that we tried out for our xmas lunch. Feels much like home and even better at some point of time. Thank you so much.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
location is very centralised. But be prepared to have a bit of hassle of 3 layers of doors and small corridors from carpark to the elevator if you bring heavy/large size of stuffs (like me and my 3 toddler nieces)

The Admiral suite is a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment on Hobart's Waterfront. We were very happy with everything about our stay, would highly recommend it and we would definitely stay there again!

accomodation has the wow factor. great location, excellent facilities. only issues is the small fourth bedroom with two single beds and the busy pub next door which goes very late.
Restaurant Tip:
Must go to DaAngelos at Battery Point for the best Italian Food.

Yes, but....

We chose Sullivans Cove Apartments because the pix online looked comfortable and a bit glamorous and because the stated location was right on the wharves at "tourist central". Two of us are in our sixties and we didn't plant to rent a car except for a day trip so ease of getting about on foot was important. Turned out the S C Apartments are scattered around the wharves and ours was just above Salamanca markets. Great! Except that the airport shuttle bus dropped us at the SC Office and apartments, (where we had expected to be staying and where, in any case, we had to collect our keys) which was at least 800 metres and three steep colonial flights of steps away from our apartment. By the time we hauled our luggage across and up we were exhausted. The stairs had to be negotiated every time we came home, usually tired. And, additionally, leaving the apartment meant climbing another steep flight of stairs every time. Probably none of this would matter to younger, fitter tourists but we think the location details should be on line for people like us.
The apartment was indeed comfortable and good looking, slightly marred by: a dead lightbulb in a bedlamp (important because we read in bed) which wasn't replaced; a fridge which leaked water onto the floor; and a long fluoro overbench undercupboard light in the kitchen which crashed down to the bench without warning when no one was near it (we managed to put it back up but from then on it didn't work). Cups, plates, cutlery etc were none too clean which, after experience, we put down to an inefficient dishwasher and/or cheap ineffective dishwashing powder.
To sum up, great location, nice apartment but those responsible should try harder.
