We stayed in the Hunter room (one double, one single bed and a folding bed which was very unstable and squeaky). The air conditioner was a bit noisy and the accommodation outdated but overall a comfortable room close to all the wineries and restaurants.

This is my second stay at the Hunter Valley Resort.
I had originally wanted to try somewhere else but none were within the reasonable price range that the Hunter Valley Resort offered.
The facilities on the property are good, there's even a brewery if you are sick of drinking wine and more wine!
No regrets with my second stay at the Hunter Valley, and I will quite likely consider this property should I come back again.
Restaurant Tip:
Dont miss out a meal at The Verandah. Their tapas dishes are stunning, albeit a little expensive but you wont regret it!

staff friendly, room clean and quiet, great location all around. Took many beautiful pictures.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Visit many vineyards and Harrigans for lunch and cold beer. Couldn't go on hot air balloon due to weather but received full refund.

Simple resort with fantastic views
2 bedroom cottage in the middle of 2 open fields. Great to wake up to, as well as to enjoy the long walks and the sunset

Cottage was fitted with simple furnishings but the location made up for shortfall in that. The resort is located conveniently nearby various boutique wineries and restaurants in the Polkobin area, which makes it a short drive to get to any of them.

Quiet location, about 20mins drive to nearby supermarket. room payment includes winery courses and wine tasting. as we have got 5 adults, we paid for an additional bed but this bed comes in a bad condition, dirty and uncomfortable.

It is in the central of the hunter valley .. The programme like wine school and tour are enriching. Would suggest all stayer not to miss that. For kids, horse riding will be fantastic and the price is reasonably good. The pie at cafe are delicious, would recommend anyone to try it.
