The service is quite minimum but effective. The hotel is ok as the room are clean and you can enjoy the silence

great hotel with friendly staff
right in the heart of kiama - only a minute walk to pubs - clubs - cafes and restuarants

having visited kiama many times over the years - but only for a day at a time - we decided to spend a few days down there with my ovreseas girlfriend, the kiama shores motel was a great place to base ourselves, the rooms were very modern - very clean and comfortable , after a long days drive the nights sleep was very welcome. if your after a beer or a bite to eat , numerous places are only a short walk away , if you like your thai food - you wont be short of places to eat.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
find a map like we did and head down to jarvis bay - after having a good look kiama first

lovely hotel and service with a smile
Quiet, open balcony facing the main road with a little bit of ocean view against the blue sky

i really enjoyed the stay during low holiday season, the whole town is so quite and peaceful, having breakfast and tea at the balcony was absolutely relaxing at all time of the day and night, the sunrise and ocean view is a bonus from balcony facing the main road at the front. room is very specious and so is the toilet with both spa bath and shower. big tv in room, as there are not much night activities at night at kiama, watching dvds to stay in after some local dining was delightful.
Travel tip:
this place is located at town centre, easy access to all shops, facilities and restaurants. have a good walk around town and you will discover the wonderful diversity and friendly locals everywhere.
i personally enjoyed the little blow-hole most and dog friendly beach around cathedral rock on the non-tourist side of kiama, followed by the breath taking ocean view and the 3 famous waterfalls in the national parks within driving distance from kiama. bush walking and coastal walks are both very rewarding on a beautiful day with great photos opportunities.

That's great location. Very close from thai restaurant and not far from the beach.njust walking about 5mins. The location hotel can walk go to anywhere and very easy to find out. The room looking good not bad. The reception very nice and friendly.
