Ideal location for Gift Fair

Our only problem was noise. When booking this hotel book a room on the right hand side of the building. Rooms on the left side face the Flinders/Spencer Street intersections and the squealing trains and trams turning the corner. Stay right and it will be right.

Rooms were good. Large balcony, on 9th floor

We found the room to be quite roomy and clean. We were on the 9th floor with a large balcony. We also had family members staying there. At the time of booking we asked if we could be near each other. They obliged with putting us next door to each other.
Even though we both booked through Agoda on the same day we were not both as lucky to get the same discounted price, due to being heavily booked.
The only difference in their room was they had a TV in both lounge room & bedroom. We only had one in the lounge. I would have liked an 11.00am checkout, not 10.00am.
This was our third stay there, and would most definately stay there again.

Great location but small rooms
Close to Melbourne Aquarium, Friendly staff, warm reception area.

Room was small but comfortable and cleanliness was good. Great for an overnight stay. Breakfast was at a cafe next door to the hotel....generous servings. Recommend pay as you go for breakfast.

I was in Melbourne for a conference held in convention center. Medina is a very good place to stay, just a few minutes walk to the convention center. The hotel room is clean, quite and nice. Across the street, there is a Japaness restraurant, serving good food with reasonable price.

Abit of disappointment.The room is average,the pillow smell bad and the front desk staff is quite stingy of smile.The location is quite abit of distance from the shopping areas and the Chinatown.The plus point of the hotel is it is quite close to The Crown casino complex and it has a heated pool.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Should make a trip to The Crown Casino complex which is just 5 mins walk from the hotel,you get casino,good shopping outlet and good rests in the complex.

New and with fully equipment

This hotel is very new and beautiful and clean. The room is big and with fully equipment, microwax, cooker, toast cooker, washing machine, drying machine and even dish washer. I love this hotel very much and it is also very new and clean. I go to swim and gym room and also there is a spa in the top of the hotel. This hotel is very convenience and there are pizza restaurant open opposite of hotel 24 hours. Downstair there are seven eleven and many different store, so we can buy everythng even it is mid night.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
there is the bus stop opposite of the hotel, it is free, it is called tour bus and bring us to the city and many places round and no need to pay. I can walk to the china town around 20 minutes, or by the tour bus.

location is fabulous but be aware there are 2 medina apartments on flinders street . taxi drivers always go to the incorrect one as more accessible from airport. medina executive apartments is the only difference in title.
rooms are ok- they have what is required but nothing special. views are less than average and for the same money i would pick something else on flinders street.
staff nice but not exceptional in regards to being helpful or offering advice etc.
lobby and restaurant area again nothing special.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Jackson and Young opposite Train station a really lovely old pub - wine selection very limited in "Cloe's Bar' though
