The room was small,the advertising photo of the place did not show what the place was really like in fact it was nothing like it.
If you have a shower the next person has to wait 20 mins for the system to reheat ,when I saw that notice I thought it was some sort of a joke ,it wasn't.,The bed had a huge sag in the middle!
Be prepare to run the gauntlet of beggars and drunks out side the front door,watch out for the puddles of vomit at the front door in the mornings.
When the cleaning staff cleaned the room they broke a glass didn't replace it and left shard of glass on the bed,the staff came to the room everyday but never checked the toilet paper or milk in the fridge ,we ended up buying our own.Note to the staff,when you have paying guest staying and they walk right past you a few times everyday it's not hard to say good morning or a simple hello,it's common courtesy
The car park is shared with a number of businesses so delivery trucks ,garbage trucks come everyday starting at 5 am right outside you door
Shopping Tip : Lots of eateries,tram stop out side

Very noisy, no room service at all, very old style room. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to any family, couples or anyone looking for a good night sleep. Me and my wife spent two nights at the hotel and there were people screaming, partying and coming and going the whole night. On the second night two girls apparently lost the room key and couldn't get in the room as there was nobody in the reception. They started to scream at each other and only stopped at around 3am when they broke the room's window to get in. Nobody changed our towels or did our bed, there was no room service at all. On the good side there's the location, which is really good, close to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants.
Restaurant Tip : There's a good place to have a cheap pizzas (large pizzas from $11) just one block from the hotel called La Porchetta.

Nice Location, friendly staff It's located very near to St.Kilda, which is one of Melbourne fashion area. The hotel is very clean and it has a car park. Its surrounded by nice restaurants all in walking distance. Public transportation is right at the door step yet very quiet, anyway, it's pretty nice place to stay for couples or small family.

Nice terrace view. Many restaurants nearby. St. Kilda is quite nice.
Restaurant Tip : Restaurants are very close to hotel.
