We stayed at Bayview Eden for 4 nights for business and pleasure. The hotel was very comfortable in terms of Rooms, Service, Ease of use of Transportation. The location was excellent as it was in the center of the city right in CBD. Traveling from hotel to any location around the city was easy since Melbourne's Tram and Train network is excellent.
I would definitely stay here once again if I ever visit Melbourne !!

My stay was very pleasant. I was only there for two nights on a business trip. It is a great location, lovely to be so close to the park facilitties and yet easy access to transport to get into the city. Easy walk to Clarendon and places like Palmerston Hotel. The hotel was a little 'old and tired' however, the staff were all friendly and welcoming. The rooms were a lovely large size, clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was no 'noise' in the hotel although that might have been because it was during the week. I like the fact that there was a restaurant/bar/gym/pool on site as it means that after a busy day you don't have to go out searching for those things. The food in the restaurant was fabulous and on one night I had room service, which was really quick and efficient. I was very impressed with the food quality. Overall I thought that whilst the hotel could do with some maintenance and upgrading of furniture in the bedrooms, this was far out weighed by the cost of the rooms- the hotel provided great value for money and at a location that was perfect for me. I would certainly recommend it and I will certainly use it again for future stays.
