lovely hotel, close to the cbd and lake
close to public transport, walking distance to a nearby lake and walking track.

very clean and tidy room. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel was situated close to all public ammenities. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Melbourne.

For the price paid, what we received was a big let down. From the website we expected a view of albert park - no such thing!
No corkscrew in the room, fittings are old and well worn, no face cloths in bathroom, and a shower that was extremely difficult to get a comfortable water temperature. Would not go back.

very quiet, no traffic noise, the best room service snacks.

we were tired when we arrived. my partner had a sleep on the comfortable kingsize bed. we ordered room service and the snacks were huge and delectable. buffet breakfast was all we could have wanted and very plentiful. the free parking was an advantage. trams were 5 mins away and very convenient.
Travel tip:
Take your swimwear as the pool is great and warm, great for the kids.
