It was just one night and it was a pleasant stay with most needs catered for. Only one small issue that the reception staff were not a friendly, helpful team ( 2 )They did not project an inviting feeling and instructions on parking and how to enter from the top carpark was not clear. I took exception upon checking out that they demanded a $10 hit on your credit card for possible items removed from the mini bar, which they would credit back to you in 10 days after checking your room. Obviously, it means nothing to them when you advise that the mini bar was not touched.

Location. Pleasant foyer. Nice bar. Pool area clean and large.

I requested a double bed and got two singles. The room had a very unpleasant smell of smoke. It was strong and stale. I had my daughter with me and she was affected with the odour. Hair dryer did not work. Bathroom was average. View to car park was strange. Hotel requires a massive Reno especially the hallway walls and doors. Not overly impressed with this establishment. One staff member was bland and unresponsive. Would I stay here again? Not for a fee. Free yes! Very average. Sorry but expected more for my money. Will spend it elsewhere.

This Hotel is actually quite a long way down Queens Rd, I thought it would be much closer to the city. St Kilda Rd is a short walk from the hotel but then you need to take a tram into the city from there.
The room was a bit on the small side I guess quite average. The decor and furnishings were pretty average also. Staff were friendly. The pool and gym looked good but we didn't have time and it was cold weather in Melbourne during our stay.
