Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

This hotel located in a very strategic location, in front of GPO, next to post if you need anything and almost anything I need is around the hotel. Restaurant is everywhere, if you need tour, so many agents in little Swanson street which only 100-200 mtrs away. The tram stop is only a few steps away.Basically you cover everything. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The room is okay, not old but also not new. But the downside is you have to pay 20aud for asking them to clean up the room, but it's free if you only need towel and tea/coffees. For now, there is a construction going on next to the hotel, so it's not as comfy as it should be. And last one, is I got room at the very end with stairs, so it's kind of othering me since i have big luggage. But overall I like this hotel and if I ever bein Melbourne again, I will stay in this hotel.
Restaurant Tip:
Try koko black for ice chocolate and ice cream, Mekong and the Taiwanese rest in little swanston

We have stayed on many occasions at this venue. we take advatage of specials as we don't have the wherewithall for expensive hotels. It would be nice if we were given rooms in better locations within the hotel occasionally. we always get the rooms they can't fill otherwise.

Great location and helpful staff
The location in the centre of Melbourne provides easy access to the highlights. Staff were friendly and helpful.
7.3
It was a trouble free stay. The request for twin beds was not translated to the hotel but the staff were happy to organise it. The building and room were a little tired but functional and pleasant. It was very reasonably priced and so well located that we are pleased to recommend.
Travel tip:
If you have an apartment, get food from Queen Victoria Markets and enjoy the variety of tasty treats.
