Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Great location at a good price
Friendly service, good value, lots to do in the area
9
this hotel is basic, but modern and clean. staff were helpful and friendly. location is great if you're on holiday. about 20mins on trams to get into the cbd, but lots of restaurants, beach etc in the area (st kilda) plus some small good quality art galleries and museums. we went in winter, so might be less relaxing in summer with st kilda being popular backpacker location.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Linden Gallery, around the corner at 26 Acland Street, is in a great heritage building. A small contemporary gallery space with some interesting (always changing) stuff.

Great location and clean
clean rooms, nice toilets and has onsite parking
9.3
The hotel is located near many eateries, which is great when we wanted to look for something to eat. Room was very clean and big. However parking space might be insufficient if they is a large amount of guests staying in. There is also self service laundry, which is more affordable than the shops outside. A pleasant stay overall.

Our tiny room seemed like an afterthought
6
our room was a broom closet, with barely enough room to get around the bed. "wardrobe" was so close to the bed i nearly knocked myself out twice! reception staff were friendly and helpful. location was great, around the corner from acland st and not far from the rather dirty st. kilda beach with airport pick up across the street.
Restaurant Tip:
Fringe on Acland St. does a fantastic breakfast!

the room was very clean. the staffs are quite helpful. we stayed with 2 young children (7 and 5) and the rooms we used are quite large for all of us. there are lots of restaurants near the hotel but it's location on st kilda is a little bit far from the city center.

Good Location and Value for the Money
Close to trams stops and resturants and shops
8.7
i stayed there for 6 nights and was upgraded to a standard room. the hotel has coin laundry, and 2 computers for use in the lobby, as well as free internet connection in lobby if you have your own computer. it is located at the cafe strip of st skida and has beautiful cake shops around, as well as woolworth and coles. tram no. 16 and 79 bring you to kew and richmond or train stations in the se of melb. the room is refurblished and clean, and has a kitchenet (with a sink, microwave, cutteries and toaster). we can enjoy raisn toast for breakfast. we enjoyed our stay there very much and highly recommend for other travellers. we have stayed 3 different hotels in sydney during our travel, and this one in melb is the most value for money.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Parking is free in the hotel but we took public transports all the time. I took tram no. 16 and 79 a few time to have meals with friends in Hawthorn and Richmond, as well as catch the train to Mt Dangneong from Glenfierre Station.

Good location but small rooms
Reasonable room rates, in a convenient location.

we had a pleasant stay, despite the loud bar crowd across the street on thursday night. tram stop was just around the corner which makes it really easy to go around melbourne. nice restaurants, cafes and some shopping around the area is a major plus.

Location Location Location
clean, quiet enough, friendly and they serve an excellent breakfast buffet
9.7
This hotel is close to all ammenities and the beach, which makes the stay in St Kilda pleasurable. St Kilda itself is a great location in Melbourne, catering for both a younger and older crowd, yet just a tram ride from the city. The tram route passes a number of attractions like the aquarium, the wharf area and the South Melbourne markets. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would choose the same hotel again should I go back. Thank you!
Restaurant Tip:
There are many restaurants in the area located along the main shopping street, as well as along the beach front. Restuarants range from bar style meals up to top rated restuarants like the Stokehouse and others. I especially liked the cake shops!
