Good location- close to restaurants, shops and transport
Reasonable rates
Moderately spacious rooms My wife and I stayed for 4 nights in Easystay Acland. The hotel is conveniently located being steps away from the tram station, restaurants and shops which are concentrated in Acland St. The room is adequate for two persons and clean when we checked in (further cleaning and change of linens have corresponding charges). Despite its location, the hotel is quiet and for its price is good value for money. The only drawback is the lack of elevator. it may not be suitable for elderly people and those with disability. The staff were very helpful in giving tips on shopping, transport and eating facilities. Overall, it is a good hotel apartment and I would stay there again if I go back to Melbourne.
Travel tip : Sometimes, the room assigned to guests are in other units in other locationsalthough all check ins are at 65 Acland St. It would be good to check the location of the unit assigned to you as it could be inconvenient for late arrivals.

Lighting not working properly, e.g. ceiling lamp, have informed the operator on my arrival day but the lamp was still not fixed on my third/last day. I've booked the rooms at Acland Street but was given two rooms at Carlisle Street. The furniture of room 507 was old, heater not working well, lighting not working, blinds were no good. Kitchen was dirty. Noisy with people talking outside and traffic.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Close to St Kilda Beach, the Luna Park and shopping areas.

it is very close to the st kilda beach. Pubs and restaurants are just around there. it is an very good location with good price. it is also quite modern inside. i would say we got the right place in Melbourne. if the car park can be a bit closer to the hotel, that would be excellent. the location of the hotel is very good, not too far from city and also near the beach. the price is affordable. I like the room we got, we had a little balcony, it looked very nice. Inside the room, it was modern. it is just exactly same as the photo on the internet. I like it.

The staff are extremely friendly, warm, hotel facilities, convenient and practical We live away from the reception of distant chamber, activity is not very convenient. We live in family room and reception is not a place to sit streetcar (tram) to the two stations, the feeling is not very convenient. The hotel facilities are complete, about 15 minutes walk from two major supermarkets, is also very convenient dining around. I am most impressed by the friendly staff, they are very enthusiastic to answer my problems, and help me contact the local day tour, short, good value for money hotel.
Restaurant Tip : Acland street's shops and ice cream dessert shop is great! We must try every day.
