Grand Mercure On Swanston Hotel is very centrally located and you are in the centre of the business and shopping district.
The hotel don't really offer much of a restaurant selection but there are many nice restaurants and cafe's located near the hotel.
China town, Melbourne is just across the road.
Overall the hotel is o.k, and very good location

The hotel needs a refurbishment as the carpets in foyer are a bit old and the quality of the bath rooms is really not what u would expect from a hotel of this standard.
