Big size room, price fair but feels like a motel
Near Railway Station, 10 min walk to city, 2 double bed and 1 big bath room

Enter the Hotel, only see Receipt, no one at door
Big size room and bath room, old deco and window face other windows
Its 10-15 Min walk to city and I think the car park is 5 a day
but if you reach there Sat. afternoon, you might get a free public car park nearby till Monday morning 7:30 am
Over all, I like the place but you must expect 3 1/2 star

Very Noisy and Old
The location is convenient to the train station.

If you want a good nights sleep don't stay here.The rooms are very old. lots of light comes through the blinds when they are closed and its very noisy.

Room was good, but missing sink plug and no soap made it not quite up to scratch.
Tip - don'y stay in the Classic rooms, these are small, cramped and lack basic facilities like a chair, table, and lounge. In fact they are totally clostraphobic.
Go for the Deluxe on the outside of the building. At least you can look out the window.

I had more than a week at the hotel the stuff they were friendly and very helpful, love the location a few steps to the southern cross station, close to shops, restaurants and some cool nightclubs if you are a clubbing person .

I enjoyed the large shower with decent water pressure, which was perfect for my bad back. The bed was very comfortable. The concierge staff were a little more abrupt than I am used to (considering I am employed as a sales rep for a major chain of hotels) but that can be dismissed as Melbourne was - and still is- going through the middle of a heatwave. All in all, 9/10.
