Holiday Inn On Flinders Hotel, Melbourne

- worth to stay , staffs are fdly & warm , Self Laundry Services is super for the travelers with very reasonable price. you can go every and each station within 5 mins by walk . 2-3 convenience stores just around the corner. rooms are clean and tidy, just one point , the housekeeper are offer after 9 p.m. if u need anything, need to contact front desk.

I would highly recommend Holiday Inn at Flinder's. The room and bathrooms are clean. The bed is big and the mattress firm. The rooms also provide you with hairdryer, iron and ironing board, complimentary tea and coffee making facility. It's greatest selling point is it's location. The hotel is just a few meters from Sourthern Cross Station wherein you can book Skybus to go to and from the airport, very economical and much faster than taking a cab. The hotel is also right in the center of the shopping district, very close to a tram, a 24 hour convenience store, within walking distance to Melbourne Aquarium, Yarra River and Southbank. Just a tram ride away from Docklands or St. Kilda Beach. Highly accessible and value for money.

From airport to hotel: skybus (flexiable return) AUD36 for an adult & a child, to southern cross station,which is a transfter center, there skybus will give you a local map, told you the way to hotel, walk 7 min to hotel. Easy to find. Room is extremly clean, everything needed ready. Walk 5 min to Melbouren Aquatium, 2 min to the free circle bus station. there is a Hungery Jack (like Macdona) at the southern cross station, a set of cheesburg AUD6.9 (triple meat), we eat 3 times there, taste good, there are birds nearby, can feed birds.

(Location) - walking distance to Melbourne Exhibition & Convention Centre as well as Crown Complex, even if you want to go for shopping on Colins, it is not far off too! (Hardware) - comfortable and valued for money, would appreciate if they install the hand-held shower rather than just the overhead one. (Service) - efficient BUT COOL service there (F&B) - very limited choice but you can always dine out (Non-smoking policy) - eventhough it is the trend of "smoke free" nowadays, but there are still a lot of smokers like myself, I am definitely a considerate smoker, I do agree not to smoking in all the indoor public area, but why don't they consider to have small inventory assigned as a smoking floor(s), they could even assign the "worst" floor(s) as for the smokers then as least to offer a choice for their guests. Nevertheless, they have a policy of smoking penalty at A$150 for smoking inside the guest room, but it was only mentioned on their key card holder but not with the non-smoking sign in the room, they shall put it on both or at least the receptionist should remind all the guest(s) upon check-in as most of the guest(s) may not aware of what's on their key card holder

Firstly so surprised to realize high price there. It costs more than US$200 per night and can't say its worth to pay. But all things in Australia are expensive and also another hotel price similar class quote more high rate. Location is good to stay and I can recommend here but this hotel doesn't show any guide and map for tourist so that hotel manager should try to put on. In Perth there are free bus route and easy to take it. If hotel shows such guide and how to access bus stop, I believe it's good service for travelers.

The hotel is o.k over-all and i had a enjoyable stay, nothing in particularly impressed me and the hotel is your average business hotel. I rally wish i could open the window, because at times i felt as if i am not getting any fresh air. Unfortunately the windows cannot be opened

hotel gives to the customers all that they can desire. good position in center of Melbourne good connections to all direction, good services, very comfortable rooms, good food.The personal in hotel offer very good services and in case of special needs of guest they react quick and efficient. Hotel has internet free of charge what is very important for Europe travelers.
