The hotel was tidy and the breakfast was great
The pool area was very dated. Bed was too small.
We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Grand Chancellor. The location was great, close to restaurants and the Melbourne Gaol which was good to see and breakfast was good. The room was what you would expect - tidy, not over the top (but neither was the price). The bed however was pretty small. We were expecting a queen size, particularly as we had upgraded to an executive room. The pool area and gym was also pretty dated.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go and see the melbourne gaol. Also eat at Hardware Lane and Lygon street.

It has the best locations which is very centrally located and very near to the Chinatown.
No comment as i'm quite happy with the hotel.
I would say that this is a very good hotel for tourist who are looking for the convenience of not having to use a taxi to go anywhere. It's centrally located in the heart of the shopping area of Melbourne city. The location of this hotel is linked between major streets and it's only a walking distance to major shopping malls and Chinatown. You can also catch a tram for free not far from the hotel which is offered to tourists and you can see most of the Melbourne city from the tram. It's also within walking distance to the Victoria Market and also the Flinders Street Train Station.
Shopping Tip : centrally located to the shopping malls, Victoria Market and Chinatown.
