Chic, modern and very clean hotel ..
Its like a 5star complete set, all stuffs available in a room ( hair dryer, steam iron, I really loved the zoom mirror, and especially the mini bar with a teddy bear)

This hotel have a very good location, 10 minutes walking to St. Kilda Beach. We can easily take a trem to cbd (city), for a minute walk from hotel to the station.
Since morning till nite we can enjoy so many tasty food along the corridor of city-walk area. We really feel relax to have pizza and ice cream at any time we want.
Special things in this hotel, they provide the stuffs that will make you smile. Zoom mirror, teddy bear, funny slipper, and a very nice coffee smell in their resto.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Best time to stay is saturday, because in every sunday they have Esplanade Market nearby the hotel area.
And this hotel is very close to Luna Park, a good place for your kids.

ok , nothing amazing but clean and comfortable

the hotel markets itself as "boutique". but simply painting the corridors pink and the ceilings black does not make a hotel "boutique". it was ok - but not worth the money in my mind.
however, the location was good and the hotel was clean. i didn’t try the food as there were so many nice cafes and restaurants to have breakfast in that look much nicer that that supplied at jasper.

we had a problem with noisy neighbours and after complaining we were moved to another room. all the staff were very attentive especially the desk staff and the cleaners.

Quirky hotel in good location.

the room amenities were of a reasonable standard for the tariff. the decor of the lobby was very stark, and the clour scheme on the floor we stayed on (shocking pink) was a bit confronting. otherwise, the hotel was in a convenient position for the melbourne cbd, victoria market, and particularly in walking distance of lygon street in carlton which has many italian restaurants and a european ambiance.

central to city and market - great value location

very friendly and accommodating staff - i'd accidentally booked a twin bed instead of a queen bed - no problem, our bed was made up into a king size for the remainder of our stay. good security. public transport immediately outside. even free street car parking out front of hotel overnight until 7:30am.
Travel tip:
earlybird carparking just $14 in next block. safe.
free parking 6-10am behind hotel in victoria market car park. safe.

Not great, modest 4 star hotel

aircon system did not cool down the room, was not comfortable especially when we stayed during the heatwave. Room really small and stayed near the lift so it could be pretty noisy but luckily there were few noisy people rode on it. But in general pretty disappointed with the room standard.

the hotel location was nice but that is about all. the air conditioning in the room did not work and it was a very hot day. we had to change rooms in the middle of the night and even in the new room, we could barely feel the air conditioning.
overall the hotel is in bad shape and i would not recommend it.
