Couples Australia, January 17, 2013	Lovely boutique hotel in a great spot Convenient, quiet and well-appointed 8.7 we spent 2 nights at the lyall, and were impressed by the size and design of the suite, which was actually more an apartment. fridge, cooker etc were available, all of which were unused due to the number of good restauarnts around. 10 mins to the botanical gardens and a 20 min walk to the city, the location is very good, and the side street location surprisingly quiet. not cheap but worth a stay! Nightlife Tip: Close to 2 cinemas and heaps of restaurants - France-Soir (yes French) was good.

The location is right in the middle of the hip part of Melbourne for anyone wanting to go out for a bite to eat or just browsing or shopping. Restaurant Tip: Lots of places to go out and try great Melbourne coffee or eats.
