where do I start they did not service our room over the time we stayed there. We had half a roll of toilet paper in the roll no refills. Asked for a roll it took half a day after ringing reception twice for someone to bring it up. Bathroom was dirty had hair everywhere. pillows hard as rocks. I won't be recommending the hotel to anyone, unless i wanted them to have a uncomfortable stay in Melbourne. Restaurant was not open Saturday or Sunday night. Had to walk forever to find somewhere to eat. If you like to relax while your away than this place is a no go zone. The rooms are cramped our view was a dingy alleyway.

Room size,location, friendly staff I live in Perth and our daughter lives in Melbourne and is getting married on the 31st of December, so I came over for the Hen's night. I decided to treat Emma to a weekend in the city and chose the Medina Grand. The room was fantastic, the hotel staff were wonderfully helpful with everything. The facilities of the apartment were perfect and the beds were very comfortable. We had a lovely view of the city despite the terrible weather. I would highly recommend the Medina Grand Hotel to everyone and would not hesitate to stay there again.
Restaurant Tip : The restaurants and shopping around this hotel are wonderful. The nightlife is great and the streets feel safe. There is so much buzz in the city as compared to Perth where I live
