Cleanliness
Friendly service at busy time
Proximity to MCG
Lifts aren't flash - waiting time
Bar closed quite early for a Saturday night
When booking in at the hotel, while it was extremely busy the process and staff were friendly and efficient.
The room was spotless with all the amenities needed although the lift did take a while to arrive and a few guests had to wait for the next lift as they aren't very large.
Minimal noise during sleeping hours
Close proximity to the MCG.
There was a significant price rise on the Saturday night however I appreciate supply and demand will influence that
Restaurant Tip : Close to Chinatown

This hotel overlooks a park which means every room has a view. The service is great and is just outside the free tram that does a circuit of the city.
The view is great, the location of the hotel is great just outside the free tram that does a circuit of the city- you can see the MCG from every window. But the toilet is a problem , you have to lean over it to brush your teeth- yes the bathroom is very small. If you dont need to spend hours in the bathroom then this will not be a disadvantage. Overall a good hotel for the price- be prepared to carry your own bags to your room. Its very family freiendly.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Use the free tram for an overview of the city-right outside the hotel

Great location on spring street overlooking parks and close to evening nightspots at Paris end of Melbourne
The location of the hotel is fantastic this was the Sheraton hotel and although its architecture etc is a bit dated the rooms are good and view from garden view rooms fantastic. If you like to walk or run this is the perfect location. If you like to eat at this end of Melbourn's premier eateries then this is the place to be. The rooms are simple, clean and cheap but open the curtains and those are the Treasury Gardens. A great place to stay.
Nightlife Tip : The Melbourne Supper Club is just up the road for late night sophisticated nibbles and drinks

Very clean and sleek style hotel, and near (free) city cirle tram stop and also Cook's Cottage. Staff were very friendly and helpful~ they helped us to book river cruise and were able to get discount by presenting room card.
A bit of walk to get to city's main shopping arena and cafes after hours (when free tram stopped service). A bit pricy for a small room due to spring racing carnival.
It's would be a great hotel to stay if you are on business trip and need to be near business area, but if you are tourist, then it's fair way out from where all the restaurants & actions are. Room itself is quite clean and comfortable and most of the furniture looks new as well. Staffs were quite friendly and helpful, so easy to get help about tourist information.
There's only one small bar & restaurant, and it doesn't offer much in terms of food choice, and it seems fair bit pricy.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : It will be good if you can get a room with view to the park. Conveniently close to the Cook's Cottage, which is worth visiting, and the park is just across the street from hotel, so it's fairly quite place to stay.
Sunday City hopper tram price only $2.90 which allows you to go everywhere is very cheap and convenient. All the cafes and restaurants at the South bank is worth visiting.

Reception staff were amazing, so very helpful and happy.
The room was a little dirty and had a musty smell but was perfectly fine.
Pleasant stay whilst on a conference trip.

This hotel could not find my agoda booking on their system, this caused a lengthy delay in the reception area, but I was compensated with a room upgrade. Friendly helpful staff.
Shopping Tip : Very close to the shopping area.

Is the best home-court advantage. There is no such convenient. It was also kind of reception.
telephone booking voucher, and the FAX is ITADAKITAKATTA.
To enjoy the city of Melbourne is the best location. If you have been accepted into the night, Mr. on the consultation. Nearby is the store brand, Stock fancy restaurants, the journey is the best-dressed.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There are churches, OMOIDE the best I can participate in worship. How do you bow in the morning!

Percent and the rooms are spacious and had enough coffee and supplementation. I was in before I leave the lobby and free newspapers.
Although the front desk and a small staff, the lobby and courteous response. SHITISAKURUTORAMU station near the location, very convenient. From the airport, using a minibus service for Sky Bus, No problem at all. It also MERUKYURUHOTERUGURUPU course. The budget in Melbourne, but what if it's reasonable, is recommended.
