Convenient location but view was not great

hotel location was central to cbd over looking a beautiful park. however, for the expensive price we were paying view should be picture perfect, not building walls. easily walking distance to collins street where you can shop all the brand names.

Good location
Near the Australia Open, Near park and convenient transportation.

I was there for the 2013 Australia Open.
I can walk from hotel to stadium and back to hotel by free bus.
It is very convenient hotel and you can buy the food from nearly mini market.
The hotel price is acceptive price for business trip or travelling.

great location, dirty rugs

Location could not have been better for view and access to tennis Open. Staff was friendly, but there was one really bad incident. I had extended our reservation, but ended up with 2 confirmation #s. Mentioned it at check in, hoping we could stay in the same room the whole time Staff said they would look into it, but heard nothing else about it for next 3 days. Assumed it had been extended. That 3rd day we were gone all day on a tour. Came back to hotel around 1:00 AM that night, which was the night the 2nd part of reservation was to begin to discover our room key would not function in the elevator. They had cancelled our room key. Went to desk and was told that we would have to move immediately to a different room--at 1:00 AM! Would have required repacking our bags in the middle of the night. I asked him why we would have to move at that point. Clearly no one would be checking in at 1:00 AM. Finally he relented and allowed us to stay one more night. We were furious. No logic at all. Spoiled whatever good feelings we may have had.

A good hotel

We enjoyed our stay here but the en-suite is very small the City views were restricted by surrounding high rise buildings but away from the hussle & bussle of the main part of the city so nice & quiet. A very good breakfast, great selection.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
the free city tram goes right past the door & takes you right around the city so great for getting about

Lovely hotel, great location, small rooms.
location, views over gardens. Shower was terrific. need to buy that shower head. (so I did)

for money paid, the rooms were too small. A second chair to sit on balcony would have been nice.

Great location, clean and classy rooms
Great location, rooms are classy and clean.

Check in was quick and good despite at 11pm
Room wasn't small at all, with new and classy furniture and decor.
Check out and leave luggage was efficient.
Totally enjoyed my stay and would recommend it for anyone with business in CBD

The hotel has everything you need, friendly staff, location is close to the free city tram so was easy to get around Melbourne and sightsee.

A pleasant stay with great acess to the restaurants, trams and train stations. Staffs were helpful in attending to our enquiries. The room were clean, newly refurbished, smaller than expected but good enough for light travellers. It would be even better if the rooms were equipped with brighter lightings.

Nothing much bad you can say about this hotel. In city centre with a free tram lane running in front of the hotel. close to most sightseeing spots in the city.
