Fabulous location with great service
Great location with good service, room condition is good, and there is a mini casino (slots machine only)

Best hotel during my 10-days stay in Australia. Free complimentary upgrade to King Room, which was very spacious. Hotel room condition is good and is connected with Grand Mercure hotel. There is also a small game room (slots machine) available which keeps your night going.

Great location right in the CBD of Melbourne

We booked a queen room but were upgraded to a king room at no extra charge, thanks Mercure.
Later we had problems with hotel booking at Great Ocean Road, the staff named Vicky (Indonesian) gave us a big help to solve our problems.
The hotel is centrally located, just 1 minute walk to Swanston street and China Town.
However the buffet breakfast has very limited choice.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There are many restaurants around, enjoyed the Vietnamese beef noodle (Mekong River) and the Lobster egg noodle (Sambal Kampong at China Town) for only A$ 14.50, at happy hours.

Simple room at affordable prices. However, somehow when water travels through the pipes, i can hear it as the pipe overhangs by my room's ceiling.
The entrance of the hotel could have been better signage as I have to make a big turn where the other entrance with linking hotel name would suffice.
Good for just a few days or just one night.

There is a travel agent beside the hotel lobby which can help you arrange local day tour. very convenient.

This hotel is very good location and very convinences because it is very closed to few famous Travel Points, shopping mall, BTS and MRT. Hotel is tidy but bed is not too comfortable.

Needs free wifi to be up with other Accor hotels.
Hotel Feature Tip:
No need to have a car as transport just a block away on the free tram which runs right around the city.

Superb location but noisy rooms

Super convenient location - at the heart of Melbourne City.
Everything else is ok except for the rooms which are not sound-proof.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Moving about the city is relatively easy as Melbourne has very good transportation system in place there.
Use city circle tram NO.35 I think or the tourist shuttle bus which are FOC. Advisable to use a map which is available at your hotel or you can try the Tourist Center at Federation Square which is opposite St. Paul's Cathedral and adjacent to Flinder's Station.
