Great location but small rooms

Its pretty much a budget hotel. It has a great location but really small rooms.. The interior of the rooms are quite old.. But all and all, it is really near Bourke St. so you got MYER, David Jones, GP, ZARA just right beside you.

In the City
Close to everything in the city

we have stayed here a few times and find it to be in walking distance to everything in the city with trams out the front if you want to use them, service is friendly and helpful stayed in different rooms some bigger than others always clean breakfasts are good too.
Shopping Tip:
Myers and David Jones right nest door.

the room was ok, but the air conditioner was too noise. when i first checked in into a room the air conditioner was too noise, and i requested a room change. luckily, they have room available for that night and i changed to another room. however, there was still noise coming out from the air con. the hotel reception was quite nice. they provide sufficient information regarding the area nearby.

Very old rooms
Location is what qualifies this hotel
6
Very old rooms, furnishings are cheap, bathroom renovated and looks newish, however, the room itself is very dated, you pay for location, certainly will not consider this hotel for a romantic weekend, business trip is suitable.
Hotel Feature Tip:
No on site parking, parking is at the QV building for $16 per day, if you park and it rains, you'll get wet getting to your car, highly impractical for a hotel. You can opt for very expensive valet service and that is available on site.

A great location, close to china town and Melbourne Central. However the quality of the rooms and services is below average for the price. However the room was small, not so comfortable & there needs an upgrade.

goodlocation, near the tram stop and shopping malls
8.3
my husband and i stayed here for three days. the staff were friendly and very helpful indeed. the room and bathroom were rather small but cosy. the location is great, being in the heart of melbourne cbd there is no difficulty in finding for great food and great shopping. the tram stop is right in front of the hotel too. i would strongly recommend mercune welcome to those savvy travellers looking for a cozy hotel with great location.
