Centralize location but slightly old rooms

The hot water from the tap came out milky so we asked for a change of rooms. They immediately changed without hesistation. And we were placed in a room that was almost 1.5 times bigger! Good service!

Had a great trip to Melbourne, Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a twin share standard room, it was small however for the low price we paid it was quite decent. We would happily stay there again.

this hotel was perfect for myself and my husband for the purpose which we required it (being to spend all day out and about). the rooms are simple but quiet and quite run of the mill however if you are only planning to literally sleep in the room it is perfect! the location in the heart of the cbd is great. this hotel is definitely value for money, i would stay here again in the future for short trips.

I like to stay at Melbourne welcome because it is a very handy location. It was my 2nd time to stay here. The hospitality is okay too. They helped me to book a transport to airport and allowed me to put my luggage at the concierge after check out time. Awesome place.....

We really enjoyed staying there but wished we had had room service on the first night after a hectic day of travelling.
We also wished we'd had prior notice of the major construction outside our window. Staff were very helpful and courteous.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
This was a great location for walking a short walk north to lygon st or the city circle tram or walking south to flinders street and federation square to catch the St. Kilda tram.

The night we arrived there, the receptionist is pleased to accept us with smile. He instructed us how to use the key card by using the lift and the kind of service inside the hotel.
Beside this, the receptionist introduced us the place where we should travel and kinds of food we should have a taste on it.
In futher, the guy assisted us to call the taxi for our journey.
